Curve Tape Manicure
Tried something interesting with a tape this time. I used a tape, cut it using scissors in curvy pattern. And then sticking it on my nail, painted the silver polish (Sally Hasnen's Celeb City) on the top. And so came out the intersting curve pattern on the nails.

Book Review: The Palace Of Illusions
Mahabharat is a major Sanskrit epic of ancient India the tells the story of two noble families, the Pandavas and the Kauravas, who battle each other over rule of the Hastinapura kingdom. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni retells this story of Mahabharat from Draupadi's point of view. She was the wife of all five Pandava brothers hence also known as Panchaali. The plot remains true to the original, but the story beings when Draupadi is born out of fire to avenge her father. It proceeds with more details of her life from childhood to being tricked into marrying five Pandav brother's and what follows after that. Kudos to Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni who has taken a male-centered story and breathed a new life into its female characters, giving us a story that is both contemporary yet timeless. I would definitely recommend you read this book whether or not you have read Mahabharat before. I would rate this book 5/5 and kudos to Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni for taking such a bold step.

Blue n Green
Lately I am not getting a lot of great nail art ideas and that's why I am settling for simple yet cute nail art designs. Not much creativity going on here but use of right color combos and outcome isn't bad.
So here is another simple and quick nail art. To start with I pained half the nail with Wet n Wild's I need a Refresh-mint and other half with Sally Hansen's Green with Envy. After that in the space between the two colors, I added different sized dots using a dotting tool with Sally Hansen's Hard To Get. And then sealed it all with my favorite top coat. That's it.
Ring: Kohls
Hope you all like it.

Chevron Nails Inspired by my Dress
Hello Friend’s. Today’s nail art is inspired by my summer chevron coral and black maxi (scroll below to see it) which I bought two months ago. Now you must all know by now, how much I love chevron print and hence decided to match my nails with this dress by doing a chevron pattern on my nails. Usually in my previous posts you would have seen that my chevron pattern never comes right (at least that’s what I think) but this time I think I have learned how to get perfect chevron pattern. I love how this pattern turned out on my nails. It is one of my favorite nail designs and would love to repeat it (Yeah I like it that much). So don’t be surprised to see it again on my nails :) and in this space.
The polishes that I used are – Butter London’s Cotton Buds, Union Black Jack and Charlotte Russe’s Coral polish.
Here is a picture of my nails in the background of my pretty chevron maxi. I love it so much that I have worn it 3 times already.
Here is another picture of my nails with a matching midi ring. Another of my latest purchase.
Here is my beautiful Maxi that inspired this nail art.
Hope you all love my this nail art as much as I do.

Summer Sun
It's Summer. It's HOT. It's 98F outside with blazing sun. So I decided to do a Summer Sun nail art this past Sunday. I drew the sun freehand using a very fine nail art brush. The polishes that I used are Zoya's Darcy, Cotton Buds and Silly Billy from Butter London. I have done a similar sunburst nail design earlier this year and you it here.

Sterling Silver
Sally Hansen recently came out with chrome polishes called COLOR FOIL. This collection includes different metallic chrome polishes and I decided to try out their silver polish. It is called Sterling Silver. It is as the name suggest a metallic silver polish in which the strokes by which the polish was applied are clearly visible. This doesn't bother me as I love metallic polishes. The pictures below are my swatches of this polish from yesterday without a topcoat.

Pink n Orange
Contrasting colors make a lovely color combo. Pink n Orange are such bright contrasting colors that look lovely when combined together. So for today's nail art I used this pretty combo to create some chevron's and polka dots. This may not be my best nail art coz it smeared at certain places because of the top coat. But I decided to share it anyways. Sometimes its goos to document nail fails too.
The polishes that I have used are - Zoya's Lolly, OPI's On the same Paige and Butter London's Cotton Buds.

Blue Flowers
Remember this design with which I started the new year. I decided to recreate it with Blue shades this time instead of orange and red.
The Polishes that I used here are - Sally Hansen's Hard to Get and Blue Me Away, Wet n Wild's A need a refresh-mint. You can see the previous similar design here.
Which one do you like better the design with red shades or blue shades?

Patriotic Cloud Mani
When I am away from home and feel like changing my nail polish, usually this is the free hand nail art design I come up with. It is easy to do and does not require use of any nail art tools, only the polish brushes. Just pick three nail polish colors you would like to use, one for the base color and two for the cloud shapes on top. The clouds are made by applying three strokes of polish next to each other, each smaller than the one before using the brush which comes with the polish bottle itself.
The polishes used here are - OPI's On the Same Paige, Wet n Wild's I need a Refresh-mint and Sally Hansen's Blue Me Away. These colors are perfect for creating a Fourth of July Cloud Mani.
You can see the previous freehand cloud mani's here and here.
