It's end of the Month and time to choose the Monthly Mani Favorites again. You can see last month's favorite mani's here. In case you haven't done this before, this is your chance to take the poll below and let me know of your favorite nail art from the month gone by. Also it was brought to my notice that I gave way too many choices to choose from and it was hard to choose, so this time I have reduced the choices to 6. Hurry up as the poll lasts only for few days.

Splatter Nail Art
Splatter Nails , I have been wanting to try this nail art technique for a long time and finally decided to try them. Even though this nail art technique is easy, it is super messy and requires a lot of cleaning afterwards and I am not exaggerating.
To start with I laid out lots of paper as my area to try out this technique. Then I added tape around my fingers, except the nails so there would be less mess of polish to clean afterwards on my fingers. Once I had done all these preparations I painted my nails in the base color polish which was SinfulColor's Snow Me White. I took multiple polishes and one polish at a time dipped one end of a straw in the polish and placed it on top of my nail. Then I blew into the other end of the straw which splattered the polish on my nails. I repeated this with other polishes and on other nails until I was satisfied with the results. Th nail polishes that I used to create the splatter are - Sinful Color's Summer Peach, Jordana's pop art neon green and Ulta's Celebutante.
Then to add an extra effect, once the polish was dry and I had cleaned up all the mess around my nails, I added neon studs from Born Pretty Store on my nails and sealed it with my favorite top coat.
I had an old bangle with splatter paint effect on it, so I decided to take some shots with the bangle. To get 10% odd your order from BornPrettyStore, use the code QANX31 at checkout.

Strawberry Nail Art
Over the past weekend I attended the annual California Strawberry Festival and decided to paint my nails as strawberries for this festival. I wanted to paint all my nails just like strawberries but I have these fruit studs or fruit 3D decorations and never used them before and wanted to give it a try as well. So for the thumb nail I did something different by using the fruit stud and created this look which looks like a strawberry in a red basket. Which one do you like the best, the thumb nail or the strawberry nails?
To create the strawberries, I first painted my nails using Ulta's Red Carpet Red. then on top of it starting from the nail base using a thin nail art brush, I created the green leaves for the strawberries. For green I used Revlon's Emerald City. Then using Zoya's Darcy which is a very nice yellow shade I created the yellow thin small lines by a thin nail art brush. That's it.

Turquoise n Gold make a lovely combo
Remember me creating the Quatrefoil nails some time back. Well I decided to create this design again with some lovely colors.
The polishes that I have used are: Urban Outfitter's Flip Flop (This is the best polish I have invested in, I just love this shade and it adds an extra something to the mani with it's amazing color), Zoya's Ziv (this is an amazing gold polish...i love it)and Butter London's Jaded Jack (my latest go to lime green polish). The round gold studs are from Born Pretty store. If you want to learn how to do this nail design. Read my previous post here. You can check out my other quatrefoil pattern nails here and here.

Ruffle the Feathers
You all must remember my previous water decal nail art, so this time I decided to try another pretty decal from Born Pretty Store. They have some really lovely decals on their website starting from $0.99 to $2.86. This decal is of pretty yellow feather’s which matches perfectly with my Chloe and Isabel Feather jewelry. You can find the pretty feather bracelet here and the dainty feather pendant here.
Feather Bracelet: Chloe and Isabel
To apply the decals is really easy. You have to follow the instructions on the back of the package. First apply the nail polish that you want as the background for these designs and let it dry completely. I used Butter London’s Union Jack Black nail lacquer. Then cut out each design you want to apply on each nail. So I cut out 10 feathers. Then one nail at a time, I put one cutout in a cup of water and let it soak for 10-15 seconds, after which the decal design came out by itself. Then I carefully applied it to the nail and let it stick and dry completely. I sealed it with my favorite top coat. Then repeated the process for rest of the nails.
