Missoni Nails

Chevron patterns are a fad these days and who does chevron better than Missoni? So today I am sharing my Missoni inspired nails with you. For those of you who don't know what Missoni is: it is an Italian fashion house, known for its colorful chevron knitwear designs.
This is a free hand design and I like how it turned out. The polishes that I used are:
Pink: Revlon's "Cupid".
Orange: OPI's "On The Same Paige".
White: Sally Hansen's "Hard to Get".
Black: Maybelline’s “Onyx Rush”
Hope you all are having an awesome extended weekend. Can't believe it's September already.

Black n Gold

Hi Friends, today to share with you all, I have one of my design's from my initial nail art days. Its a simple design with a little glitter here and a little gold there.
The technique used here is very simple. I started with two base coats of a black polish. Next, I did the tips in golden dots using a dotting tool. Finally, I applied gold glitter from the midpoint of the nail base towards the tip. After that I sealed it with a top coat.
The polishes used here are:
Black: Maybelline’s “Onyx Rush”
Gold : Revlon's "Golden"
Gold Glitter: Sephora by OPI's "Only Gold for Me"
Ring: Charlotte Russe

Floral : Coral Nails

Happy Friday, everyone. I recently discovered nail polishes at Charlotte Russe store. The unique thing about these polishes is that they don't have any names. These polishes are reasonably priced and you can find them 2 for $6.00 at most of the Charlotte Russe stores.
I have been looking for a coral nail polish for the longest time. And my search for it ended at Charlotte Russe when I fond this perfect shade of Coral. Immediately I had to try it and that too with an interesting nail design.
So here is my take on this polish. With some floral and my favorite polka dots, the outcome was very attractive.
Coral polish : Charlotte Russe.
White polish : Sally Hansen's Hard to Get.
Silver polish : Sally Hansen's Celeb City.

Floral : Daisies

Continuing with the Floral week, Today I have pretty daisies to share with you. Instead of doing all daisies on one nail, this time I tried only one daisy on a nail.
They didn't turn out to be as good as I expected them to be but nevertheless, a good design to share with you all.
For blue I used Wet n Wild's "I need a refresh-mint", for white Sally Hansen's "Hard to get" and for yellow, Sally Hansen's "Mellow Yellow".

Floral: Poppies

Hello friends, this week I am doing a floral week. What does this mean? It means I will be sharing floral nail art all week long on the blog. To start with I have a very cute poppy nail art to share with you all. The best thing about this nail design is I have used my favorite colors combo’s in it: Red, White and Black.
For red I used OPI’s "I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic"
For white I used Sally Hansen’s "Hard To Get"
And for black I used Maybelline’s “Onyx Rush”
This turned out to be one of my favorite nail art’s, definitely on my “to be repeated” list. Hope you all like it as much as I do.
