Negative Space and Stripes

Negative space black and white nails that I did a while ago, but never shared them. Luckily my nails aren't that yellow as they look in these pics anymore ...thanks to having very less time now to do nail art ;)

I used Zoya's Purity and Willa for these and freehanded the design.

Winter Night

Hello Lovelies, how is the new year shaping out so far? Its been super cold where I live and warm weather is no where in site. So I made a white winter snowy night nails design. A lot people when they saw my nails asked if I had used stencils ;) but no, as usual its my free hand design. The polishes I used are Zoya's Willa and Purity. I really like how this design turned out to be. Loving IT, what do you think?

Black and White Nails

I created these nails to match my one of my Indian outfit last year. It was an all black outfit with white seashell, mirror and bead work on it (Scroll all the way down to see the fabric). I like how it turned out i.e, exactly matching my dress :)

Product Review: Musical Water Decals from BornPrettyStore

You must remember me reviewing the Hibiscus Water Decals from BornPrettyStore a few days ago. If you don't you can see that post here. So today I am sharing another water nail decal from BornPrettyStore and this one is a musical one. You can visit the store's website here and find the decals used by me here, product no. 16256. Get 10% OFF on your order by using the code QANX31 at checkout.

Disclaimer: I was provided with these products free of charge for the purpose of this post. The opinions mentioned are my own.

To apply these water decals is really easy. You have to follow the instructions on the back of the package. First apply the nail polish that you want as the background for these designs and let it dry completely (I used OPI's My Boyfriend Scales the Walls). Then cut out each design you want to apply on each nail. So I cut out 10 musical notes. Then one nail at a time, I put one cutout in a cup of water and let it soak for 10-15 seconds, after which the decal design came out by itself. Then I carefully applied it to the nail and let it stick and dry completely. I sealed it with my favorite top coat. Then repeated the process for rest of the nails. These decals are available on BornPrettystore website for $1.99, Product no. 16256. Top purchase them click here. It takes them almost 3-4 weeks to reach to you which isn't bad for the money you pay for these beautiful pieces.

I really like these decals. They are easy to use and very quickly create some gorgeous nail art on your nails. So if you really really want some pretty nail art on your finger tips and have no clue how to achieve it or where to start from, without spending a lot of money, nail art decals are the technique for you. Also these musical nail art decals are perfect if you are going for a music concert over the weekend or having a karaoke night with friends. You can also see me using other water decals from BornPrettyStore here, here and here.

Adding Glitter

So you all like my black, white and grey vertical stripes from yesterday? I added some black and white glitter to it :) I got this idea from Pinterest. While browsing it yesterday I saw a similar nail art as mine with some glitter on it and decided to enhance my nail art with some black n white glitter which I already had.

Which one do you like better? The vertical stripes nail art or the add on of glitter on my nail art. Let me know in the comments section below :)

Here is a picture of nail art before I added the glitter -

You can read more about it in yesterday's post here.

Black n White Nails

Black and White is the most loved combination and is always in fashion no matter which decade it is. This combo always looks good everywhere be it your home decor, clothes, crockery, shoes or in this case your nails. My recent realization that I have never painted my nails in this chic color combo led to this nail art.
The Polishes that I have used are : Maybelline's Onyx Rush and Butter London's Cotton Buds
Hope you all like this classy combo.
