Corals

Hi all, as you know Pantone Color of the Year 2019 is living coral and I have been seeing coral shades everywhere a lot so I wanted to create some real ocean corals on my nails. This is the freehand nails design that I came up with using Zoya's Cora (see it's swatch HERE), Purity and Ziv.

Geometric Nails

Hello all, today I have a geometric nails design that I did as a part of maniswap with Natalia of @nailsjustnailss. She always does these amazing geometric tape mani's with the most pleasing color combos and I have been meaning to recreate her designs for a long time. I used this maniswap opportunity to create this wonderful geometric coral and navy design. I used stripping tape for most part of the design, not my usual freehand. The polishes that I used are all Zoya's - Sawyer, Ryan, Ziv and Purity. I had so much fun creating this design and I got a ton of compliments on it from complete strangers. Hope you all will enjoy this design, as much as I did.

Here is a pic of our maniswap. Original designs are on the left. Natalia recreated my crocus flower nails (see the original post by clicking HERE).

Zoya | Cora

Hi all, today I have a new swatch from Zoya Nail Polish. It's called Cora. As you all know Living Coral is the Pantone color of the year for 2019. And Cora, in my opinion, is the perfect coral polish which represents this color of the year. For pictures below, I used 2 coats, which was opaque enough and did not need any top coat. Without the top coat this nail polish is shiny enough and I am loving it. The formula is creamy and smooth which makes the application of the polish really easy.

Cape Coral

New coral nails - polishes used as L'oreal's Blake's Pink 711 (see it's swatch HERE). Beige polish is Maybelline's Naturally Creme and gold is Zoya's Ziv. This design is created free-hand and dots I created using a dotting tool.

L'oreal la vie en rose collection swatches

Hi all, today I have 2 swatches from L’Oréal Paris La Vie en Rose 2016 Collection. Along with six lipsticks, this collection includes six matching, limited-edition nail polishes. This collection is all about different pink shades and named after L'oreal's brand ambassadors. Each pink color is associated with a specific L'Oréal Paris beauty. I bought two shades which I liked the most Eva's Pink and Blake's Pink.

Eva's Pink 703: Eva Longoria's Pink is almost beige pink, not really a pink. I love such neutral shades and that's why I choose to buy this polish among the others. The Formula is liquidy and easy to apply, which I wasn't surprised as all the L'oreal polishes have a formula which is easy to apply. I wore this polish just by itself and it made my fingers looks really long because of its neutral tone. I used 2 coats for the pictures below and no top coat.

Blake's Pink 711: Blake Lively's Pink is not really a pink, but is coral Orange. Not sure why either of them is called Pink? since both the shades are anything but pink. I had run out my previous Coral polish and was looking to replace it with a good brand, so I am glad I got this one. Also I am a big fan of Blake Lively so that was a plus point ;) This polish, as I mentioned above is easy to apply too and the coral shade is gorgeous. I used 3 coats for the pictures below and no top coat.

L'oreal also launched lipstick shades inspired by these beauties and I bought 2 of the lipsticks as well. Since I wear red and pink a lot I decided to get Zoe's Red (Zoe Saldana) and JLo's (Jennifer Lopez) Pink. I like matte lipsticks over glossy/creme ones so these two lipstick's have kinda become staple in my wardrobe. I have been wearing Jennifer's Pink almost everyday to work.

Coral and Blue

It's almost Summer and I wanted to try a nautical nail art. It's been a while since I tried one. See the last one HERE. But this time instead of creating an all nautical look, I decided to do something different by adding coral to it. The end result, I am not sure if qualifies for a nautical nail art but I am happy with it. I got tons of compliments on it too. So it's a win win and I am in love with this color combo now, hence the title Coral and Blue.

Coral and Beige

I decided to wear this dress again for a party and wanted to paint my nails to match my dress. This nail art is what I came up with to match the shaded part of my dress and gold dots and circles (Scroll all the way to the end to see the fabric). I used Maybelline's Naturally Cream (see the swatch here) and Charlotte Russe's Coral Nail polish.

Marimekko Nails

Hi All, Today I am sharing my Marimekko nail art which is inspired by the talented Elleandish. She did this beautiful nail art a while back and since then I have seen a number of girls replicate this on their nails. I was always drawn by this easy nail design and decided to give it a try on a busy Sunday. This nail art is super easy to do and the outcome is amazingly beautiful. I used a number of different nail polishes for this and if you have any questions on which polishes I used, leave a comment in the comments section below and I will be happy to answer it for you. Hope you all like this mani.

Chevron Nails Inspired by my Dress

Hello Friend’s. Today’s nail art is inspired by my summer chevron coral and black maxi (scroll below to see it) which I bought two months ago. Now you must all know by now, how much I love chevron print and hence decided to match my nails with this dress by doing a chevron pattern on my nails. Usually in my previous posts you would have seen that my chevron pattern never comes right (at least that’s what I think) but this time I think I have learned how to get perfect chevron pattern. I love how this pattern turned out on my nails. It is one of my favorite nail designs and would love to repeat it (Yeah I like it that much). So don’t be surprised to see it again on my nails :) and in this space.

The polishes that I used are – Butter London’s Cotton Buds, Union Black Jack and Charlotte Russe’s Coral polish.

Here is a picture of my nails in the background of my pretty chevron maxi. I love it so much that I have worn it 3 times already.

Here is another picture of my nails with a matching midi ring. Another of my latest purchase.

Here is my beautiful Maxi that inspired this nail art.

Hope you all love my this nail art as much as I do.
