I Dream of Color

Inspirations can be found anywhere. Inspiration for nail art is everywhere.
That’s what today’s blog post is all about. I bought this pretty, colorful tribal print wooden bangle from Forever 21 back in 2011, for a very reasonable price, when tribal print was becoming a fad. I have worn it so many times since then and last week when I took it out of my collection I realized once again how beautiful this single bangle was. Then I thought how much fun it will be to create this beautiful, colorful tribal print design on my nails. And since then I have been thinking about how to recreate it and what polishes to use from my stash. So this past Thursday I sat down with my nail polishes and nail art brushes and created (free-hand) this lovely tribal print on my nails.

Love, Love, Love how this design turned out on my nails. It was even more fun while doing it. After I finished working on it, I proudly showed it to my hubby who agreed that it had turned out beautifully. So get ready to see loads and loads of this design in this post.

Teal

Hello Lovelies. Today's nail art is a mix-n-match nail design that I did when I didn't had much time to spare on my nailart. It's a very very simple design but the use of color's in it is what makes it different. The polishes that I have used are Urban Outfitter's Flip Flop and Butter London's Cotton Buds. Silver glitter polish is from Forever 21.

Love & Beauty by Forever 21

Do you ever shop at Forever 21? If so you definitely must have spotted their nail polishes Love and Beauty by Forever 21. These polishes are priced at $2.80. Pretty reasonable I must say. I got one of the Love and Beauty polish/shimmer called baby blue/hot pink which is a glitter polish. Since this polish's base was sheer jelly baby blue, I applied it on top of a white polish and the outcome was this amazing baby blue polish with silver and pink glitter with some tiny blue glitter as well.

The only thing disappointing about this polish is the polish in the bottle dried up very fast in couple of months. So if you really really like this polish buy it and use it a few times or get a really good nail polish thinner :) I liked the polish but wasn't impressed with it not lasting for long in the bottle.
