Hello fun people out there, today I am sharing swatch of Ulta's Moody Blues a beautiful royal blue shade. This is one of my most favorite blue polish and over the years I have used it a lot (see some nail art using it HERE and HERE). The formula is nice to apply, not thick at all and dries to a shiny creamy finish. I applied 2 coats of polish for the pictures below and no top coat to retain the shine of the polish.

Strawberry Nail Art
Over the past weekend I attended the annual California Strawberry Festival and decided to paint my nails as strawberries for this festival. I wanted to paint all my nails just like strawberries but I have these fruit studs or fruit 3D decorations and never used them before and wanted to give it a try as well. So for the thumb nail I did something different by using the fruit stud and created this look which looks like a strawberry in a red basket. Which one do you like the best, the thumb nail or the strawberry nails?
To create the strawberries, I first painted my nails using Ulta's Red Carpet Red. then on top of it starting from the nail base using a thin nail art brush, I created the green leaves for the strawberries. For green I used Revlon's Emerald City. Then using Zoya's Darcy which is a very nice yellow shade I created the yellow thin small lines by a thin nail art brush. That's it.

Product of the Week - Butter London's Backstage Basics Set
Hi All. From today on I am starting a new series called "Product of the Week". In this series I will be sharing the amazing products or hard to resist deals that I will come across on my shopping trips (mostly nail art related, unless I really get excited about something ;P ).
So to start with I am sharing my first "Ah-ma-zing" find. I found this awesome product from Butter London called 'Backstage Basics' Customizable Set while shopping at Ulta store earlier this week. Why is it amazing? I tell you why. Now if you are familiar with Butter London products you would know their polishes are 3 Free: no formaldehyde, no toluene, no DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and are usually priced $15. Butter London also carries Top and Base coats which are priced $19 each.
Now the fun thing about this 'Backstage Basics' Customizable Set is that, it includes Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat and Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat, Powder Room Acetone Free Lacquer Remover, and a complimentary nail file. The reason it is "Customizable" is because you can also add a Butter London polish of your choice in this set, all for only $29.
Now I personally love their Base coat and Top coat. And that's what I use for all my nail art's and manicure. And if you follow my nail art closely, you would have noticed that I use Butter London's Cotton Bud white polish in most of my nail art's where white is needed. So this was a steal for me, not to mention I was buying this set for the second time :) So if you want to try out their base coat and top coat, I would definitely recommend this product.
This set is available at Ulta stores and Nordstrom stores.
How do you all like this new series? Would you like to see more products like the above, in future? Then let me know in the comments section below.

Ruffle Mani
Happy Friday. The ruffle manicure that I am sharing with you all today was done by me in my initial days of starting nail art. The inspiration behind it is exceptionally talented nail artist Sarah Waite who runs the very successful and popular nail art blog Chalkboard Nails. I am a huge fan of Sarah and she is one of the reason's I started doing nail art. You can see some of my previous nail arts inspired by other artists here, and here.
The polishes that I have used (in that order) are as shown in the picture below:

Yellow and Navy
Hello Friends. Today's nail art that I am sharing with you all is a stripes manicure which I did earlier this year for my Birthday, to match the Maxi I was wearing for the occasion. The Maxi has White, Navy and Yellow stripes which make a lovely color combo.
The polishes that I have used are - Ulta's Moody Blue, Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow and Hard to Get.
One of the activities we did for my Birthday weekend was to go for Strawberry picking. Hence the below picture with a Strawberry :)

Freehand cloud look
Hi Friends, Today I am sharing with you all a freehand easy design which is popularly done by Jane from the blog NailSide. This design was made popular by her and on her blog she has done this in various color combos. I loved the red-silver-black one so much that I had to try it out on my nails. So I tried the exact same combo. The polishes that I have used are: Red is Ulta's Red Carpet Red, Silver is Sally Hansen's Celeb City and Black is Maybelline's Onyx Rush. This a simple freehand design for nail art without using any extra nail art tools. So this is my goto design when I am on vacation or need a quick makeover for my nails. You can find the tutorial on how to do this nail art on NailSide blog.

Tribal Nails
In case you didn't get the memo, Tribal prints have been "THE TREND" to try this year. It's almost November and just in case if you haven't tried this trend, its not too late. I have been into tribal prints for quiet for few years now. Apart from incorporating this trend in my day to day clothing and accessories, I decided to add this trend on my nails as well. So here is my tribal print nails.
I wasn't quiet thrilled with my design, to be honest. I was expecting myself to do better. The polishes that I have used are Ulta's Little Black Dress and my faithful white polish, Sinful Color's Snow Me White. Below is pic of my tribal leggings as well as my tribal print flats :) Couldn't help but sharing these. And yes, that's henna on my feet.

Halloween Series: Halloween Colors
Purple, Black, Orange, Grey and Yellow. These are the colors which we associate with Halloween, isn't it? Few years ago during Halloween I bought a colorblock top with these colors. So this fall I was itching to try and recreate that colorblock on my nails. I was about to do the exact color blocking as my top (see last pic) but Sohpie's striped black n white nail design inspired me to do the colorblocking her way. While we are talking about Sophie, let me take a minute to mention that I am huge, HUGE fan of her nail designs and her work. The polishes that I have used are:
Purple: Ulta's Celebutante
Grey: Sally Hansen's Wet Cement
Orange: OPI's On The Same Paige
Black: Maybelline's Onyx Rush
Below is a picture of my nails with my colorful halloween colorblock top in the background :)
