Pink n Orange

Hi All, today I have a nails design which was pretty simple and I did last year but never posted it. I had bought all these Lakme polishes from India and wanted to create a nails design using them so this is what I came up with. The polishes used are all from Lakme (can't remember there names now).

Fall Florals

Hello people. Hope you all are having a great month so far. It's almost Fall and time for some fall colored nail designs. The base polish is Lakme polish 417 by Manish Malhotra, you can see its swatch HERE. On that using a dotting tool I created this design. Polishes used for dots are Zoya's Purity and Ziv.

Lakme Manish Malhotra

Hello Lovelies, today I am sharing with you all swatch of Lakme polish 417 by Manish Malhotra. Manish Malhotra is a very famous Indian fashion designer. You can see my previous Lakme swatches HERE. Lakme 417 is a deep burgundy/deep red shade. It becomes opaque in 2 coats and that's what I used for the pictures below. I am not happy with Lakme polish bottle caps. Of all the bottles I have used, every single one of them gets jam-ed very easily and every time I go back to use it I have to put the bottle in warm water in order to open the bottle again. This shade also left some red stains on my nails which I wasn't too happy about. Anyways it was a good experiment to buy this polish and special Thanks to my sisters who bought this for me all the way from India on a very short notice :)

Lakme

I cannot believe it took me so long to write this post. I went to India at the end of 2014 and bought these beautiful Lakme brand polishes while I was there. I swatched them earlier last year but totally forgot to post the swatches (NOT sure how did that happen). So here are swatches of some of the pretty Lakme polishes that I bought in India. When I was little and lived in India, Lakme was the only trusted brand that we used for cosmetics but with changing times and a lot of foreign brands being available in the market, Lakme isn't the goto brand in India anymore. But I couldn't resist and buy some cute new polishes from Lakme. So here are the swatches.

Aqua Marine: This one is a cool blue shade with creme finish. The formula is easy to apply and for the pics below I used 2 coats. This one is my favorite of the lot.

Purple Plunge: This one is mauve purple polish with glitter like finish. I used 2 coats for the pics below.

Blue Sapphire: This one is a royal blue polish with smooth finish. I royal blue color is amazing and I used 2 coats for the pics below.

Purple Lust: This one is a deep violet shade with smooth finish and I used 2 coats for the pics below.

What do you think of this exotic polishes? I love trying and reviewing new brands for my blog and swatching one of my old favorite brand was so much fun.
