Seeing Red

Let’s face it, every one can use a bit more bold and fearless in their life (Like the color RED). You can do that by going for something with more subtle hints of red like in your polish or in my case, my red nail polish art. I created this design free-hand using a nail art brush and some dotting tool. Polishes used are Chanel's Dragon and Butter London's Cotton Buds.

Holiday Series: Feeling Festive

Hello Friend's. Another day during the Holiday Season and another Holiday Nail Art. This one is very festive looking and I used glitter placement technique to create this one. The polishes used are Chanel's Dragon and on top of it using SinfulColor's Watch It Shine, I added the diamond glitter placement . What do you all think? My Husband thinks it looks more like a Indian wedding than Holiday season. Do you agree with him?

See other mani's using the same glitter here and here.

Valentines Series: Nail Art using Revlon's Stencils

Welcome to the 100th blog post of Nails Context. Yes you read it right, 100th :) Can't believe it. Feels like just yesterday when I started my blog. Also in case you are following Nails Context on Instagram, you must know I recently reached 1000 followers on Instagram.

Now about today's post, I recently came across Nail art stencils from Revlon at a drug store and decided to give them a try. I bought the heart nail art stencils and decided what better time than Valentine's Day to try them out. So for the following cute Valentine's Day nail art that you see, the hearts I did are by using the Stencils and the dots are done by using a dotting tool.

I will post a pictorial (tutorial in pictures) tomorrow, so you get to see how easy it was to do this nail art. The polishes that I have used here are - Red is Chanel's Dragon, Pink is Revlon's Cupid and White is Butter London's Cotton Buds.

Red Dotticure

I recently bought a Chanel red polish and have been experimenting with it a lot lately. You can see how I have used this polish before, here. So for today's design I decided to go with Dot manicure or 'Dotticure' which these are popularly known as.
What I personally like about this nail design is the fact that every nail has a different dots design. The polishes that I have used are:
Red : Chanel's Dragon
Golden : Zoya's Ziv
Black : Maybelline's Onyx Rush
White: SinfulColors Professional's Snow Me White
Hope you all like this sweet and simple design using Chanel.

Cute Monsters

Today's nail art inspiration are cute colorful Monster's.
My little nephew Zubin, loves monster's. He recently collected a lot of round stones from a trip and brought them home. On those stones he painted these cute little monster's in different colors. Last time when I was visiting him, he showed me his cute little monster stones. I loved the colors and concept so much that I couldn't resist painting my nails and recreating these monster's. These monster's are perfect for Halloween but I was so excited about them that I couldn't wait till Halloween and had to share them with you all NOW. So here are the colorful monster's painted by my nephew.
And here are my nails inspired by the above painted stones.
Aren't they cute :)
The polishes I have used are:
Red - Chanel's Dragon
Yellow - Zoya's Darcy
Green - Sally Hansen's Green with Envy
Pink - Revlon's Cupid
Black - Maybelline's Onyx Rush
White - SinfulColor's Snow Me White
Hope you all like it :)
