Winter On

Hi Everyone. It's been so cold lately so I decided to make some glistening icicles for this season. I used Dior's Rouge as the base red polish. Then using Pure Ice's Dazzle Me & Zoya's Purity I added freehand icicles.

Heart's Desire

Another V-Day nails design by me. For this one I used Christian Dior polish GRENAT( see it's swatch HERE) as the base. The using Zoya's Purity I free-handed the hearts and dots design on my nails.

Christian Dior

Hi Everyone. Today I am sharing swatch of my latest Christian Dior polish called 745 GRENAT. This polish was release by Christian Dior for the Holiday Season 2017 and is part of their DIORIFIC VERNIS - HOLIDAY 2017 LIMITED EDITION which comes with four different shades. I bought this from Nordstrom during the Holiday Season and got around only now to try it out. I bought this shade out of the four because I knew I would use this red more than any other shades offered in this line and wanted to get maximum usage out of this polish for the price that I paid for it.

Grenat is a gorgeous deep red nail polish with a decent formula. What I like about this polish is the gorgeous bottle it came in and the brush that comes with the polish, which is wide and makes application of the polish really easy. For the pictures below I used 2 coats and a top coat. I have bought Dior polishes before and you can see its swatch HERE.

Holiday Series: Poinsettia

Hello Lovelies. Today is National Poinsettia Day and for this occasion I decided to create some Holiday Poinsettia nails. Poinsettia is a red and green plant which is used widely as part of Christmas floral display's across USA. National Poinsettia Day marks the death of Joel Roberts Poinsett, who is credited with introducing the native Mexican plant to the United States. The purpose of the day is to enjoy the beauty of this popular holiday plant.

Now coming back to my nails I created this design free-hand using Dior's Rouge, OPI's The Spy who loved me, Sinfulcolor's Innocent, Zoya's Purity and Ziv. I really like how this nail design turned out - better than what I imagined in my head. Hope you all like it as well and get to enjoy this beautiful plant this Holiday season.

I am really lazy when it comes to swatching polishes. I bought this beautiful Red Dior polish called Rouge back in December 2015, I have even posted nail art using this polish (see HERE and HERE) but totally forgot to take swatch pics. So here they are - my favorite red nail polish which is perfect for the Holiday Season. Love the formula, love the color and I am in love with this brand. May be its time to buy some more Dior polishes ... hmmm.
