Pantone color of the year 2018 | Ultra Violet

Butter London partnered with Pantone, the Global Color Authority, to introduce the Color of the Year 2018 - ULTRA VIOLET. Of the 6 nail polish shades they launched as part of this line, I bought Ultra Violet the namesake of the collection. This is a gorgeous and brightest shade of violet and the formula is nice and shiney. The used 2 coats for the pictures below and love how it looks.

Pumpkins

Pumpkin Nails for this fall/halloween season. As I have mentioned before, I don't like gruesome, scary Halloween nail art so I always go for sweet, cute halloween/fall nail designs. This is my take on pumpkin's for this season. I created these nails freehand using ALL Butter London polishes - Cotton Buds, Silly Billy, Jaded Jack and Union Jack Black. Hope you all like it :)

Glow

Good Morning from this side of the world. Today's nail art is something I didnt know what it would be until I sat down and started painting my nails. This design came to me as I was painting and eventually this is what the outcome was. The polishes used are Butter London's Fruit Machine and Cotton Buds. The beautiful rose gold polish is OPI's DS Glow.

The Usual

When in doubt, go with dots and animal print nails, you know the usual stuff. That’s what I did for my recent travel, when I didn’t had time to paint my nails before my trip, I created this nail design. Polishes used are Butter London’s Cotton Buds, Union Jack Black and Fruit Machine. Also use Revlon's Plum Seduction.

Floral Friday

After a lot of Holiday and Winter nails, I wanted something different and decided to go with these. The polishes used are Butter London's Union Jack Black and Cotton Buds, I have also used Chanel's Dragon.

-ve space nails

Trying my hand at creating negative(-ve) space nails. What are negative space nails you ask? It's a nail art design where some of the nail space is left blank without any polish on them and your uncolored nail peeps through bold polish colors like cutouts in clothes. The possibilities are endless when you want to create a -ve space nail design and I decided to try this colorblocked pink and green -ve space look. The polishes I used are Zoya's Lolly and Butter London's Jaded Jack and Fruit Machine, which pop very well and look bright when used together. There are some minor mistakes in this design but I choose to ignore them ;P and share it with you all anyways. Hope you like them.

Teal and Polka

Wanted to created something which is colorblocked and has polka dots, so decided to go with these bold colors. Polishes used are Butter London’s Cotton Buds, Union Jack Black and Urban Outfitter’s Flip Flop.

Dot, dot, dot.

Dots are all the rage this fall. I created these simple nail design for fun and ended up wearing it for a whole week. The base polish use is my favorite black – Butter London’s Union Jack Black ( I am almost out of this polish and would be soon looking for a new brand of black to try this time). Dots I created using Butter London as well – Fruit Machine, Jaded Jack and Pimms.

Halloween Series: Have a faBOOlous Halloween

Hello Friends, with Halloween just a few days away, I am trying something new for Halloween - Quatrefoil pattern, Halloween style. You remember me trying the Quatrefoil pattern before, if you dont you can check it out HERE, HERE and HERE. To create this 3-color look I used 3 polishes from Butter London - Union Jack Black, Cotton Buds and Silly Billy. The Quatrefoil pattern, I did free hand using a dotting tool (Read this to learn how) and the stripes I created using staight nail vinyls from Storenvy. Hope you all have a faBOOlous HALLOWEEN this year and enjoyed all my Halloween themed nail designs.

Halloween Series: Colorblocked

Today's Halloween nail art is nothing scary or Halloween-y. I just created this colorblocked Halloween nails after seeing this design on Pinterest. The polishes that I have used are -

Purple - New York & Company's Mauve Maven.
Orange - Butter London's Silly Billy.
White - Butter London's Cotton Buds.
Black - Butter London's Union Jack Black.

Here is my another Halloween Nail art with some cute Halloween-y dots and stripes. Nothing scary ... only cute :) Base coat of Green is Models Own Flip Flop. Other polishes used are all Butter London's - Union Jack Black, Cotton Buds, Silly Billy.

Blooms and Bouquets

Spring is almost over and Summer is upon us(although it doesn't feel that way here in Los Angeles - it's been raining and gloomy lately and I haven't put my winter boots away yet!), so I decided to do some lovely floral nail design of these lovely round flowers. Not sure what to call them so I am going to leave it up to you to guess ;) Polishes used are - Butter London's - Cotton Buds, Union Jack Black, Silly Billy and Chanel's Dragon.
