Mint is THE COLOR of the season. Everywhere you look there is something mint-colored peeking at you. Well there you go, reason enough to deck my nails with some mint. See a similar color-blocked look from me HERE. The polishes used are Urban Outfitter's Flip Flop (See it's swatch HERE), Revlon's Jaded and Butter London's Cotton Buds.

I Dream of Color
Inspirations can be found anywhere. Inspiration for nail art is everywhere.
That’s what today’s blog post is all about. I bought this pretty, colorful tribal print wooden bangle from Forever 21 back in 2011, for a very reasonable price, when tribal print was becoming a fad. I have worn it so many times since then and last week when I took it out of my collection I realized once again how beautiful this single bangle was. Then I thought how much fun it will be to create this beautiful, colorful tribal print design on my nails. And since then I have been thinking about how to recreate it and what polishes to use from my stash. So this past Thursday I sat down with my nail polishes and nail art brushes and created (free-hand) this lovely tribal print on my nails.
Love, Love, Love how this design turned out on my nails. It was even more fun while doing it. After I finished working on it, I proudly showed it to my hubby who agreed that it had turned out beautifully. So get ready to see loads and loads of this design in this post.

Neon and Black
Neon polish is hard to wear in day to day life coz the nails are super neon-ish and attract a lot of attention, not that it is a bad thing but I would rather wear neon nails on vacation. And that's what I did on a recent weekend getaway, I painted my nails in neon yellow and added some funky nail art to go with it, in the colors that would compliment neon.
The polishes that I have used are - Neon is Claire's Sunshine, Black is Maybelline's Onyx Rush and White is SinfulColor's Snow Me White.
Did you like this all neon polish? If so let me know in the comments below.

Tribal Nail Art
You remember my first tribal nail art and how I didn't like it a bit. So this time I decided to give it another try and with some different design. I think this one came out better than the previous one.
For base coat I used Essence polish called "Miss Universe". You can see the swatch of this polish here. On that using the nail polish brush itself I did a broad line with Maybelline's Black Onyx. On top of that using a thin nail art brush I created the white design using SinfulColor's Snow Me White.
Here are some pics before I added the dots to the design -
I think I like it better with the dots instead of without the dots. Which one do you like? Let me know in the comments section below :)

Tribal Nails
In case you didn't get the memo, Tribal prints have been "THE TREND" to try this year. It's almost November and just in case if you haven't tried this trend, its not too late. I have been into tribal prints for quiet for few years now. Apart from incorporating this trend in my day to day clothing and accessories, I decided to add this trend on my nails as well. So here is my tribal print nails.
I wasn't quiet thrilled with my design, to be honest. I was expecting myself to do better. The polishes that I have used are Ulta's Little Black Dress and my faithful white polish, Sinful Color's Snow Me White. Below is pic of my tribal leggings as well as my tribal print flats :) Couldn't help but sharing these. And yes, that's henna on my feet.

Colorblocking
Colorblocking is a trend which is here to stay for few more years. I love colorblocking and often experiment with this trend on my nails. You can see some of my previous colorblocked nails here and here. So for today's nail art I decided to use some bright colors which would look good together.
I like how all the colors compliment each other. The polishes that I have used are - Green is from Charlotte Russe. As I have mentioned before Charlotte Russe polishes don't have any names. Yellow is Zoya's Darcy and Blue is Wet n Wild's I need a refresh-mint.

Neon Pink: SinfulColors Professional's Fusion Neon
