Green is the new Black, so why not use both of them in a nail design together. Polishes used are Sinfulcolors Innocent with Zoya's Dainty and Willa. Enjoy!!!

Swirls

For today's nail art I decided to create some multichrome swirls. Polishes used are Fun Lacquer's Celebrate(H) and Sinful Color's Get It On. I used swirl nail vinyls from Twinkled T to create the perfect swirls. What do you think? Like it? I will post a tutorial soon on how to achieve this nail art look.

Holiday Series: Feeling Festive

Hello Friend's. Another day during the Holiday Season and another Holiday Nail Art. This one is very festive looking and I used glitter placement technique to create this one. The polishes used are Chanel's Dragon and on top of it using SinfulColor's Watch It Shine, I added the diamond glitter placement . What do you all think? My Husband thinks it looks more like a Indian wedding than Holiday season. Do you agree with him?

Green Polka Dots

When I go on long vacations (8+ days) I tend to carry few nails polishes with me just in case I want to change my vacation nail art. Since I don’t carry lot of nail art supplies and only few polishes, I tend to work on some simple nail art while on vacation. So today’s nail art is one such simple nail design, that I did in flat 5 mins on my nails. Due to lack of brushes/tools and cleaning supplies, this is the best I could come up with. So please excuse the lack of proper cleaning. The polishes that I used are Sinfulcolors Innocent, Revlon’s Emerald City and OPI’s my boyfriend scales the walls.

These pictures were taken on my vacation, hence the outdoor shots in the background of a river and grass :)

One Stroke Nail Art

I was shocked to realize I had never tried the one stroke nail art technique before today so I decided to give it a try. Now this was really something, took me a couple of tries to get it right especially with nail polishes. Most of the nail artists try it with acrylic paint. But I stick to nail polishes for my nail art.

To start with I painted my nails with Maybelline’s Onyx Rush and let it dry. After that following the one stroke flower nail art technique, I took 2 different colors (Sinfulcolors Snow Me White and Sunset) on either end of the brush and did continuous strokes with the brush to create the flower petals. I repeated it till the flower was complete and added dots in the middle and sides. It was harder to create the same design on my right hand using my left hand.

I like how this turned out considering it was my first attempt with one stroke nail art. I am glad the colors I chose as well for this. They really compliment one another.

Sunburst

The nail art that I am sharing with you all today is what I like to call the sunburst nails. The polishes that I have used here are Zoya's Darcy, Sinful Color's Snow ME White and OPI's On the same Paige. The gradient effect I created using a sponge and dabbing 2 different colors on it.

An unusual combo

Hi All, Today I am sharing with you all a nail art which is formed by the use of two very unusual nail polish colors. The reason I say this is because I have never seen these two colors used together, in a nailart before. I recently went shopping at Walgreens and ended up buying some very pretty shades of Sinful Colors Professional's polishes. The maroon one is called GET IT ON and is from there new (read last year) Leather Luxe collection. You can see its swatch here. The Blue one is called Alfresco and is from there SinfulShine collection. (SinfulShine is a high gloss, high shine nail polish collection with gel tech formula that gives the same shine gloss as an acrylic UV cured gel without the lamp.)

The polishes that I have used are all from SinfulColor's. White is Snow Me White, Blue is Alfresco and Maroon is Get It On.

For this design I started by applying the white polish first and then using the blue polish created four dots together using a dotting tool, to create the pattern in the middle fingers. Then repeated it with maroon polish as well to form the above pattern. It was pretty easy. If you would like a tutorial of the design above, let me know in the comments section below :)

SinfulColors Professional Leather Luxe collection

You remember me long time ago talking about the SinfulColors Professional's Leather Luxe Collection. It came out late last year and I got one polish called GET IT ON from this collection, but never got around about doing its swatch. So here it is the swatch of GET IT ON.

GET IT ON is a pretty cranberry colored maroon polish which is MATTE in nature. All the polish's in the Leather Luxe Collection are matte polish's. In order to make them glossy you can always add the top coat to it.

I don't own a lot of matte nail polish's as I have a matte top coat which can give any nail polish matte effect. But I definitely love this color and it's effect. So if you would like to try matte polishes, try one from this collection. You can find these polishes in Walgreens and Walmart.

Holiday Series: Feels Christmassy

With Christmas around the corner and the whole town decked in Christmas decor it feels Christmassy everywhere and so do my nails. This nail design, I started with different colors but ended up doing it in red and gold. Instead of using glitter polish as it is, I used the glitter placement technique to align the diamond glitter from the polish in this pattern.

The polishes that I have used are: White - Sally Hansen's Hard To Get, Red - OPI's The Spy Who Loved Me, Gold - Zoya's Ziv and the Diamond glitter is from the polish Sinful Color’s Watch It Shine.

Cherry Nails

Hi All. Today I am sharing, the very cute Cherry nail art with you all. It is one of my favorite nail designs and they look so cute on the finger nails.

The polishes that I have used are: Red is Ulta's Red Carpet Red, White is Sinfulcolor Professional's Snow Me White and Green is Jordana's Nail art's Neon Green.

Diamonds Are Forever

Diamonds are a girls best friend, I think we all agree with that ;) That’s the exact thought that came to my mind when I saw this diamond glitter from Sinful Color’s. The glitter us called Watch It Shine.

Instead of using diamond glitter on all the nails I decided to do something diamond for each finger. So for the ring finger I used glitter. For the index and pinky I used rhinestones. For the middle finger I just painted diamonds. And for the thumb I used stamping technique to create diamond design which included diamond shapes.

The polishes that I have used here are: Pink is OPI’s DS Reserve, White is OPI’s My Boyfriend Scales the Walls. The stamping plate that I have used is Konad’s m60 stamping plate.

Pink Mix-n-Match

Those who know me well, know that Pink is my favorite color. I own a lot of polishes in different shades of pink and love playing around on my nails with them. So October being the Breast Cancer awareness month I decided to dedicate this pink mix-n-match nail design for that cause.

Red Blue and White

Last year for an Indian festival I bought a beautiful Red, Blue and White Indian outfit. A day before the festival I was in dilemma what nail design to apply on my nails which would match my outfit colors. I was looking at some nail stamping plates at that time and Konad's m79 plate's dotted design caught my attention. So instead of buying the plate I decided to free hand that design by myself, in the colors that would match my outfit. Hence the following nail art.

I find it challenging to recreate the nail art by myself, instead of opting for the easy way of doing a nail art (i.e. stamping, nail strips, etc) . You can see another design that I recreated here. The best part about recreating this design myself was I used 2 different colors i.e, Red and Blue. If I had used the stamping plate, the whole design would I have been in one color. Also, the stamping plate doesn't have the "big dots" on every intersection of the small dots but only on the every other intersection. I added the "big dots" on every intersection.

The base polish I used is my faithful white polish, SinfulColors Snow Me White. For Red I used Ulta's Red Carpet Red and for Blue I used Wet n Wild's I need a refresh-mint. Below is a picture of my nails with my matching "Indian Bangles" mixed and matched, from my jewelry collection :)

Halloween Series: Candy Corn Nails

Can't believe its October already. October means time for Halloween. Halloween for me is Halloween nail art ;P So today I am sharing my very first Halloween nail art with you all. It is a very simple and common nail art which I have been doing for every Halloween for the past 2 years. These are my candy corn nails.

The idea was to recreate Candy Corns, the popular Halloween treats on my finger nails.

The polishes that I have used are:
Orange : OPI's "On The Same Paige"
Yellow : Sally Hansen's "Mellow Yellow"
White : Sinful Color's "Snow Me White"
