Happy Republic Day - INDIA

Today is Indian’s 67th Republic Day and on this occasion I am sharing with you all a nail art inspired by Indian Flag colors. In India, Republic Day honors the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950. I did this nail art free-hand and used all Butter London polishes - Silly Billy, Cotton Buds and Jaded Jack. You can see my other nail art’s inspired by Indian Flag colors, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.

Hawaiian Flowers

Hello Friend's, if you follow me on Instagram, you know about my recent trip to Hawaii. Before I left on vacation, I wanted to paint my nails with some Hawaiian nail art and this floral design is what I came up with. The polishes that I used to create this nail art are OPI's Non-Stop White, Zoya's Darcy, Sinfulcolors Sunset, Orly's Yellow Submarine and Butter London's Jaded Jack. I got a lot of compliments from strangers on my trip, for this nail art and I had this nail art on my nails for 9 days (which is very unusual for me). Hope you all like this deisgn.

Couldn't help but take picture of my nails with some of my favorite Hawaiian Flowers, white Plumeria and yellow Hibiscus

Peacock Feathers

Hello People. Hope you all are having a wonderful 2016 so far. Today's nail art is an easy one. I created it to match one of my peacock feather Sari's in 2015 and couldn't share it until now. The green polish is the beautiful BLESSING(H) from FunLaquer. You can see its swatch HERE. The peacock feathers are done using water decals from BornPrettyStore. I bought these decals a while ago and didn't get a chance to use them till later last year. To purchase them you can click HERE and get 10% OFF your order by using a special coupon code QANX31. There are 2 types of peacock feathers in this sheet, one is white (see pic 4) and one is the regular green peacock feather (see pic 7). Book Review: Winter Stroll

Hi Friend's, today is another book review of mine that I am sharing with you all. As you all know Elin Hilderbrand is one of my favorite author's and I have read each and every book written by her. You can read my previous review of her book The Rumor HERE. Today I am reviewing her latest book Winter Stroll which came out in October 2015. This is the second book in her Winter Series. The first one was Winter Street.

Winter Stroll is a story of Quinn family which gather in Nantucket for the winter stroll weekend. The whole story only takes place over the course of a few days, but we are filled in as to what has transpired over the year, since the end of last book Winter Street. The story is told from all the character's point of views, instead of one, which is really interesting as every family is facing challenges of their own - some major , some minor. The book has a open ending which leads me to believe that next year there will be another book in this series.

Elin Hilderbrand never disappoints me and I can say I am NOT disappointed yet again. I loved reading about Quinn family again this year and I could identify with each of her detailed characters and their storylines, as her writing style is comfortable and inviting. Yet again a entertaining weekend read by the author. I would rate it 5/5.

NailIt 6th Time

What an AWESOME way to start the NEW Year. Jan/Feb 2016 issue of NailIt magazine features not one but TWO on my nail art designs. The first design is a Teal nail art, I created last year. The other is a Valentines Day nail art which I haven't posted on my blog yet (will be posting it soon as Valentines Day is fast approaching). This is the sixth time my nail art is featured in the NailIt magazine. Last time too, two of my nail art designs were featured in the magazine. To see that click HERE. Sparkle, Shine, Glimmer, Glow

Hello Friends, a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.Today's nail art is something that popped in my head out of no-where (Mind of Nail art Blogger, I say) and I had to create it right away. The colors and gold used here is what excited me the most. I love how this simple, shiny, sparkly and glimmer-y this nail art is, perfect to start a New Year with. The polishes I used to create this nail art are - Ulta's Moody Blue, Wet-n-Wild I need a refresh mint, Zoya's Ziv, Sephora by OPI's "Only Gold for Me" glitter and my first Julep polish called Gloria.

Don't you just love Macaroons? My favorite here is Orange flavored Macaroon.
