The Color Black

Black is used in various context's but never in the context of Spring. AND that's what is changing here today. I have created a Spring nail art design using the color BLACK. The polishes used here are Butter London's Union Jack Black, Cotton Buds and Pimms.

OPI Infinite Shine

OPI has come up with Infinite Shine collection. It's a collection of nail polishes which are 5-Free (Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor) and gives you gel-like shine that lasts until you take it off. As you can tell, I do not wear the same polish for more than 5-6 days so long lasting polishes do not matter to me. I was curious about this collection and wanted to buy few shades from it. Unfortunately I couldn't find all the ones on my list at Ulta, so I bought this beautiful creme lavender shade from the collection called In Pursuit of Purple (ISL11). I feel its similar to the regular OPI nail polishes and nothing special about it.

Even though OPI Infinite Shine polishes are 5 FREE, the Infinite Shine primer is NOT 5 FREE. It contains camphor, so be mindful before you purchase the additional nail care products from this line.

Cute and Pink

A lot of people have mentioned to me, how they buy nail polishes after reading my blog posts but when they use it, it doesn’t look like the one in my picture. Well to tell you all, nail polishes, especially bright shades look differently on every individual’s skin tone. So please try them on your nails before buying them instead of coming back and complaining to me.

Well that said and out there, today's nail art is a very simple one. Few weekends ago I had no time to do some fancy nail art on my nails and decided to go with this super easy, eye-catching, pink and polka nail art. The Polishes that I have used are Butter London's Cotton Buds, Union Jack Black and Zoya's Lolly. Hope you all like the simplicity of it.

300

Hi Friends. Welcome to my 300th post of this Blog. Can you believe it, 300!!! I can hardly believe. In fact I noticed it while posting my last nail art. When I started my Blog I never thought I would be posting close to 300 nail designs, in this space. It's all the constant love from you all that makes me want to try harder and come up with unique and unusual nail art, like this one. So far this year I have been inclined towards trying out new prints and color-combos for my nail art. I haven't seen anyone try this before, so it is totally new. The polishes I have used are American Apparel's Peacock and Butter London's Cotton Buds (My favorite goto White polish). I created this print on my nails using a very very thin nail art brush and a dotting tool. What do you all think? would you love to see more print and patterns in nail art for future?

HERE is a Macro shot of the pattern-
