Black n Gold laser tape manicure

Hello! I am not really pleased with the manicure that I am featuring today but decided to share with you all anyways.

This is a really easy manicure and I started by first painting my nails a base color. I used Zoya’s Ziv as the base which is golden. Once it was completely dry I cut the striping tape and taped it on random sections of my nails. Then I painted over the nail completely with black – Maybelline’s Black Onyx and then slowly peeled off the striping tape. What was left was lines in the color of base, which was golden. That’s it easy –peasy.

You can see some of my other striping tape designs here, here and here.

Yellow reminds me of Summer

For some reason, the color yellow reminds me of Summer. And that's what this nail art does - reminds me of Summer. Since I wanted the yellow to stand out, I painted the black daisy nails only as accents. The yellow is Zoya's Darcy and on it using a thin nail art brush I painted thin white lines using Sinfulcolor's Snow Me White. The Black is Butter London's Union Black Jack and on it using white and yellow I painted half daisies on the corners.

Milkyway Nails

Hello friend's. Today I am sharing with you all my "Milky Way" nails or what they are popularly known as Galaxy Nails. Remember my swatch of Gravity nail polish from Picture polish and how it reminded me of a galaxy nails. So that's the polish I used as a base coat here.

Since Gravity is a sheer polish. I started by painting my nails in a black polish as the base coat. I used Butter London's Union Jack Black Nail Lacquer. Then on that I added two coats of Picture Polish's Gravity. When it was dry I started by dabbing three different polishes, using a sponge, to create the galaxy effect. I used SinfulColor's Blue is Alfresco , Revlon's Lily and Ulta's Celebutante. Then using a dotting tool I added tiny white dots using Sinful Color's Snow Me White. I also added some stars here and there. You can also add some glitter on top of all this to give more starry effect, but I liked how my nails looked and stopped at the dots.

I am very satisfied with the over all outcome of this mani. It was easy to do than it sounds and very eye catchy to look at. Here are some pictures of the nail art taken in sunlight, so you can see the amazing glitter effect of Gravity polish.

Gravity

Hello Lovelies, today I am sharing with you all polish swatch of Picture Polish called Gravity. Picture Polish is an Australian brand and is 5 Free (5 Free means polishes means they're free of formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and toluene—plus formaldehyde resin and camphor, too). Gravity is part of their Limited Collection which includes other 3 polishes - Aurora, Altered State and Solar Flare.

Gravity is a multi-coloured scatter holo shade with light shifing properties, the color as you can see in the pictures below shifts from blue to purple with scattering for holo shades and glitter, based on lighting. This polish dries smooth on the nail. Since its sheer in nature I applied it over a Black base coat to achieve the results below. This is an eye catching shade and I am glad I bought this one. I love how the color shifts and couldn't stop staring at my nails while I was wearing it. The polish by itself reminds me of all those beautiful galaxy nails.

Grapes

For my recent weekend getaway I decided to paint my nails in pretty grapes which is perfect for summer. These nails also remind me of Olive Garden, one of my favorite restaurant's, whose sign has a pretty grapes on it.

Polishes used are - Butter London's Jaded Jack and Cotton Bud's. Also used Purple from Revlon's "All the Rage" Nail art French Mix.

You can also see similar grape nails which I did for my niece's feet a year ago, below. I took the pic before clean up so plz excuse the mess -
