Glisten & Glow

Hi everyone. Today I am sharing with you all swatches of Glisten & Glow polishes that I bought from The Indie Shop event. These are my very first Glisten & Glow polishes and I also got there HK girl top coat at the event. So here are the swatches.

Raspberry Margarita : Raspberry Margarita is a very saturated bright pink with linear holographic polish. This one is my favorite of the two. It was originally from Glisten & Glow's Cocktails Anyone? Collection. I used 3 thin coats for the pics below and sealed it with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Black Roses : Black Roses is a grape purple holographic polish. Very easy formula which looks dark and intense when exposed in sunlight. I used two coats for the pics below and sealed it with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Have you used Glisten & Glow polishes before? What did you think of it? Which one do you like the most? Share in the comments section below.

Heart Drag Marble Mani

I am very happy as I type this post. After lot of trying and failed attempts, I have successfully created a hearts drag marble. I have tried this technique before but never had any success with it, until now. I got this beautiful polish from HnM last week called PurpleHeart Pearl. It was on sale in the HnM store for $1 and I couldn't resist buying this beautiful red shade of all. On this using Formula X's Dainty and a thin nail art brush, I created the drag hearts design and added some dots afterwords to give some life to the mani. I even created a video tutorial on how to create this nail art. Scroll all the way below to watch it.

HERE is the VIDEO TUTORIAL. Have you seen my YouTube channel - Nails Context yet?.

Polka and Pink

I have been out of nail art ideas lately and this is what I felt like creating, a cute pink design. I used Marc Jacob's Shocking (You can see it's swatch HERE) as the pink base. Then using Formula X's Dark Matter, I added thick lines and using Formula X's Dainty I created the dots and thin lines, free-hand using a nail art brush. Hope you all like it :)

Vintage Cake Inspired

Hello Friend's, today's nail art is inspired by a beautiful cake picture(scroll below to see it). The soft blue used in this cake made me want to create this nail art. Polishes used are SinfulColors Alfresco, Zoya's Blu, Formula X's Dainty, Sally Hansen's Wet Cement and Chanel's Dragon. I used a dotting tool to create the roses and dots and I created the stripes free-hand. See my previous cake inspired nails HERE.

Here is the cake that inspired these nails :) gorgeous isn't it? The pastry chef that created this must be super talented.
