Hello All. Today's blog post is about my new nail polish from Burberry called Stone No 104. This nail polish comes in a rectangle bottle with a iconic Burberry print cap. The cap is quiet large but when you remove it it reveals an oddly shaped bottle with a separate brush on top, which makes applying the nail polish easier. The shade itself is neutral and not very unique, but the reason I bought this shade is because I was looking for something neutral. The quality of the polish is really nice and the application is easy. The formula is lite so I used 3 coats for polish for the pictures below. The formula contains strengthening and moisturizing elements, including vitamin B5 and myrrh extract to help protect and care for nails and prevent damage.

Then using a nail art brush I free-handed some black trees and then added some white dots in the night sky.

I started by painting freehand peacock like pattern on my nails using a nail art brush with polishes - Zoya's Wyatt and Purity. I also used Formula X's Provocative. Once sealed with top coat these studs won't come off until you remove them with polish, which was really nice as I was worried they might come off easily. Book Review | The Hate U Give

Hello everyone. Today I am reviewing a book called The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This book was published in February 2017 and quickly became a best-seller in no time. When I read rave reviews about this book I wanted to read this one as well, so after a long wait in the library I got my hands on a copy early this year.

The story is about a girl named Starr who witnesses shooting of her unarmed friend by a cop. This story line might sound familiar to you as it is loosely based on a similar real life event that happened few years ago. The similarity ends there and the story takes its own twists and turns as Starr's life unfolds after her friend is killed in front of her eyes. The big part of the story is how Starr juggles between her home life in a poor neighborhood and her school life in a fancy suburban high school. Apart from a strong story line, well narration the story also consists of a mini love story, drug dealers and some high school drama(which is part of every teen's life).

This book is not something which is easily forgettable. It makes you feel sad, angry and motivated all at the same time. There are some really good lines written in this book which I will remember forever, like this one - "Sometimes you can do everything right and things will still go wrong. The key is to never stop doing right".

Hello Lovelies, today I am sharing swatch of my NEW nail polish from Kendra Scott. This polish is called Peach Coral. I was wandering in Kendra Scott store for Thanksgiving sale when I spotted their nail polish collection (which was on sale). I did not know they carried nail polishes as well, that too in such gorgeous bottles. Hence I decided to buy a shade which I didn't have in my collection, a light version of orange and coral. The formula is smooth, goes on evenly, and has a nice shine even without a top coat. I applied 3 coats for the pictures below. The gold cap is designed to be pulled off and underneath it is a regular nail polish cap attached to the brush. The brush is regular small brush and you have to turn it around while applying so that the application is even. When I applied this polish I fell in love with this beautiful color and wore it for couple of days just by itself.

Beauty Big Bang | Chrome Powder

Today I have review of chrome powder which I got from Beauty Big Bang. This chrome powder is a pigment powder and its my first time using a pigment powder on my nails. This is a duochrome peacock powder with deep purple undertone and shifts colors to green and golden. It comes in a tiny box and contains only 0.2 grams of pigment powder but it is enough for few applications. This powder comes with 2 sponge tipped applicators. Usually it is applied on gel polish base but for my nails I wanted to try something different. So I applied it on my regular black polish as base and the results are in the pictures below.
